first competitive games starting today in Germany. First round of cup-matches. still a lot of questionmarks with the team combined with the usual surprises in cup. take them with the respective caution.

Friday

Osnabrück- Rostock: Osnabrück pk,+0.5 @ 1.87

Osnabrück just relegated from 2nd to 3rd Bundesliga. 3.Bundesliga has already started and so Osnabrück is the advantage of already two competitive games. they actually looked good in those getting the first win at home on tuesday. They are the usual strong home team.
Rostock although in 2nd Bundesliga is not much better as they barely escaped relegation last year. no competitive games so far.
Both teams played each other twice in cup with Osnabrück winning one and Rostock one on penalties.
this is a very open match with advantages to the home team IMO. the line should be pk or maybe even -0.25

Wehen- Wolfsburg: WOlfsburg -1.5,-2 @ 1.87

Wehen relegated from 2nd Bundesliga already lost their first two games in 3. Liga. they dont look good at all. Wolfsburg the champion has already shown good results against good teams in friendlies and i dont see any problems here today

Babelsberg- Leverkusen : Leverksuen -1.5,-2 @1.89

Babelsberg in 4th division, which has also not started yet. they are no run over, but Leverkusen should be the much better team using this as a good warm up for Bundesliga

Maybe I'll follow a little more closely this year since the World Cup is coming up next year. It's amazing to think that it's almost been 4 years since last WC.

I always pull for Germany to win and if they can't win then England.

Sunday early games : kickoff 8:30 amET

Concordia Hamburg- Koblenz: Koblenz -1.5,-2 @ 1.72 !! 2 units!!

even if line moves to -2 take it.

Hamburg playing 5th division, Koblenz 2.Bundesliga
Hamburg has big injury problems for today. even worse: after a solid season in their lower division they exchanged most of the teams because of financial problems and now aiming only to stay in that league.
Koblenz had a good preparation so far with good results vs. Bundesliga teams.

Speldorf- Oberhausen: Oberhausen -2,-2.5 @1.99

again 5th division vs. 2nd. Oberhausen proved already some good form in friendlies against better competition...should not be much of a problem here.

more to come for later games

one more early game

Greif- Aachen: Aachen -2.5 @ 1.79

Greif in 5th division barely avoid relegation last season finishing at the bottom of that league. Aachen 2. Bundesliga has some injury problems on defense, which should support an offensive approach for today even more. combined with a big class difference i see a blow out here.

Aachen is playing at 10 am ET

other plays:

Worms- Fürth: Fürth -1.5 @2.03

Worms finished at the lower end of 4th division last year. they lost in offseason their key defensive midfield player and have now a suspension on this position. they are also missing their most dangerous striker with suspension for this match.
Fürth a 2. Bundesliga team has big injury problems themselves, but with the class difference the suspensions on key-positions should be much tougher to overcome for the lower league team.

Offenbach- Frankfurt: Offenbach +0.5 @ 2.05

this is a very openb match between a 3. Bundesliga and 1. Liga team.
YOu have to know that this is a really big rivalary game and there will be lots of hate and agressivity in this game (also very likely a lot of arrested fans).
Offenbach is a strong home team and they will contend for promotion to 2.Liga. they have already 2 competitive games under there belt which already proved helpful in this cup-weekend. both games were good against good teams.
Frankfurt has a dreadful pre-season..they are loosing almost every game and have big injury problems. they are one of the top candidates for relegation from 1.Liga if nothing special happens.
forget the class difference here. this is a game that deserves a pk-line and is very, very open.

i am looking at a couple more games right now, but cannot pull the trigger yet..still more research to do.
